The K. A. Banthia High School is a premier educational institution, located in Raigad, Maharashtra. Since its inception, the School has been constantly striving to provide a quality educational experience to students, along the modern lines, while still retaining Indian cultural values.
School History
 K.A. Banthia High School was founded in 1992, by the 'Sudhagad Education Society', which has a long and distinguished history, as a pioneer of providing education. In pursuit of its goal of providing quality education, the Society has launched many educational institutions in the country.
Aims
 The School aims at the all-round development of students, both academically, as well as the other facets of their personalities. Towards this end, the School has introduced several co-curricular activities and sports into the School curriculum.
The School believes that the intellectual growth of a student is not enough to make him/her, a well-rounded individual. Towards this end, the School has introduced several co-curricular activities into the School curriculum, to help students develop their latent talents and skills.
Clubs
 The Cultural Department of the School regularly organises functions and programmes, such as plays, dances, skits, etc. The Club is also responsible for organising celebrations for National Days, etc. on a monthly basis. Picnics and excursions are periodically arranged, to promote appreciation of the rich Indian culture and heritage amongst students.
The School has a Music Department, so that students may develop confidence and their creative talents, through the medium of music. The Science Hobby Club focuses the students on the latest technological advancements. Exhibitions and lectures are also organised periodically.

Admission
 At the time of admission, applicants are required to bring the following documents:-
Birth Certificate
Transfer Certificate from the last institute attended
Mark Sheet of the previous class
Withdrawal
In case a student wishes to withdraw from the School, one month's prior intimation is to be given to the School authorities. The transfer certificate is handed over when all dues have been cleared.
FACILITIES
Computer Laboratory
In order to keep students abreast of the latest developments in the world of IT, the School has introduced computer education into the School curriculum. The School provides its students with an air-conditioned computer lab, equipped with all the latest software and hardware peripherals.
Library
The School has a well- stocked library, which contains a multitude of books on a variety of topics. Students are encouraged to supplement their classroom learning experience with reference books, available in the library. The School subscribes to several magazines and newspapers, so that students keep themselves up to date with current affairs.
Laboratories
The School provides well-equipped science laboratories to students, which contain all the requisite apparatus and chemicals. The School has a dedicated and well-experienced staff, to aid students, with their practicals.
